Child Safety Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
AfricBizLink is committed to providing a safe online environment. This Child Safety Policy outlines our approach to protecting minors and complying with app store requirements, including Google Play's Families Policy and Apple's App Store requirements.
1. Age Restrictions
AfricBizLink is a business-to-business (B2B) operations platform intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and older. The platform is not designed for, directed at, or intended to be used by children or minors under 18. We do not knowingly collect, process, or store personal information from anyone under 18.
2. Account Verification
Account registration requires an email address and password. By registering, the user represents and warrants that they are at least 18 years of age. We do not intentionally allow minors to create accounts. If we become aware that a minor has registered an account, we will take immediate steps to delete the account and all associated data.
3. Content Standards
AfricBizLink is a professional business tool. Users are prohibited from uploading, storing, or transmitting:
- Content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors in any way
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) — zero tolerance, immediate account termination, and reporting to authorities
- Content that bullies, harasses, or threatens any person, especially minors
- Content that promotes self-harm, violence, or illegal activities
- Any content that violates applicable child protection laws
4. No Advertising to Minors
AfricBizLink does not display third-party advertisements of any kind. We do not engage in behavioral advertising, interest-based advertising, or any advertising targeted at or accessible to minors.
5. Data Collection from Minors
Since AfricBizLink is not directed at children, we do not collect personal data from minors. If a parent or guardian discovers that their child has provided us with personal information, they may contact us to request immediate deletion. We will promptly remove such information upon verification.
6. Reporting & Enforcement
We take all reports of child safety violations seriously. If you encounter content or behavior on AfricBizLink that you believe endangers a child, please report it immediately using the contact information below. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include:
- Immediate account suspension and content removal
- Permanent ban from the platform
- Referral to law enforcement authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
7. Educational Resources
We encourage parents and guardians to be proactive about online safety. Helpful resources include:
- NCMEC CyberTipline: report.cybertip.org
- Google Family Link: family.google.com/familylink

8. Compliance with App Store Policies
This policy is designed to comply with Google Play's Families Policy, Apple App Store Review Guidelines (Section 1.1 - Objectionable Content and Section 5.1.1 - Data Collection and Storage), and applicable children's online privacy protection laws.
